Wind Projects in Eastern Colorado Awarded $1.5M

Three Renaissance Engineering & Design clients in Eastern Colorado were awarded Farm Bill Grants this summer in the amount of $500,000 each. Renaissance performed feasibility analysis and business planning work to support these three seperate USDA 9006 grant applications, all of which were selected by USDA in the midst of heavy competition.

Renaissance Engineering helped prepare the grant applications and various grant application deliverables under a very short time frame to get three projects started. Each project is for a commercial wind farm in East Yuma County and the total project size of the three is over $7,000,000 in value. Nationally, the USDA only awarded 11 grants of $500,000, the maximum award size. Three of those 11 grants were these East Yuma County projects.

Renaissance Engineering will continue to provide project planning and engineering services to these projects to help bring them to reality.
